| Bio: | Behold the creative force that makes my face pucker. Getting the acrid designs from brain to written form will be easy someday. For the time being, I will have to suffer my vinegar muse's vile machinations. In 2003 I started Lycan's Grace during NaNoWriMo. I completed 30,000 words but was cut short due to personal life issues. In 2004 I finished the rough draft of the novel with another 50,000 words. I had finished the story by about 45,000 actually -- so the last bit is crappy filler. So don't mind the mess. The novel is not complete yet. I still have some mythological and socio-political backround I want to work into the story. I also need to do a complete read through and do technical and content editing. I hope to finish the book in a year or two. In 2005 I wrote a fantasy story that has pirates, zombies and mermaids. It is called "The Curse of the Sea King". You can read parts of it here. This was the only Nano I've done with absolutely no preparation, no backwriting, no character concepts or anything except a one paragraph plot summary. It is very dry, but I hope to re-write it into an interesting story someday. This year, 2006, I'm writing a book called "Downward Spiral ~ A Runaway Story". It is the true story of when I left home in 1994. It will NOT be posted publicly, because of its sensitive nature. I'm trying to capture my memories of what happened, how I felt then and how my view of things has changed over time. I'd like to eventually show it to people who were there and get their points of view as well. It's going to be an emotional Nano this year, but I feel this is an important thing for me to write. Even if no one ever reads it. Most of my writing here is friends-locked to a few trusted people, due to copyright protection. If you want to read more, comment and we can come to an arrangement.
